Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"I've been here twice and had a good experience both times. I LOVE their breakfast burrito - it's tasty and huge. Their Rueben sandwich was also good, but my cheeseburger was only okay - a bit messy and perhaps not as cooked as I would like. (Our server was friendly but didn't ask my preference, and I forgot to mention it.) The fries and onion rings made up for that though!"
"Food was delicious! The wait was pretty long, but that's to be expected at lunch time on father's day. I loved the decor (sadly they don't sell any of their vintage lunch boxes) I would absolutely go again!"
"They have the greatest pancakes I've ever had They also have the greatest club sandwich I've ever had. They're always nice and they're always so accommodating. Love this place."
"Everything here tastes so fresh. We came in and were immediately greeted, chose seating for ourselves, and were welcomed to some amazing choices on the menu. Anything smothered in country gravy is a winner but staples like the buttermilk pancakes are no slouches. You can’t go wrong."
"A lovely place with great service and delicious food. I had the avocado toast with bacon. The biscuits are very fresh and tasty. The coffee was really good! You don't usually find good coffee."
"My second time here after want to try it out and I must say it’s a go to now. The service is great and friendly. Food has been just delicious both times I’ve come here. If you drive by or walk by and haven’t tried it you must."
"I don't have a pic right now because I was too caught up in the delicious-ness!! Food is incredible!! Service is so friendly and cheerful, even the owner!! Best milkshakes!! AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OBSESSED!!!! Totally worth the price!! You won't be disappointed."
"I love a good, down-home diner, and this one really delivered. It's got character, good service and great food. We split a Second Street scramble, plus upgraded to include their famous homemade biscuits. YUM! Also, their bathroom floor is lacquered rows of pennies. Amazing collection of vintage lunch boxes. Easy access downtown, just a few blocks from I-5."
